A Faster Microstock Workflow: Batch Everything

Most contributors don't have a talent problem — they have a throughput problem. The photos are good; the pipeline from card to marketplace is slow, manual and easy to abandon. Here's a workflow built to scale from ten images to a thousand without burning you out.

1. Cull ruthlessly, first

Every minute you spend on an image that won't sell is wasted twice — once to process, once in the marketplace's index. Before anything else, cut hard: sharp, well-composed, commercially useful images only. A smaller, stronger portfolio outperforms a bloated one and slashes your metadata workload.

2. Organize into themed batches

Group surviving images by shoot, subject or concept. Themed batches are the foundation of speed because similar images share most of their metadata — keyword the batch, then adjust per image. 3. Automate the metadata draft

This is the step that actually scales. Instead of authoring a title, description, 50 keywords and a category from a blank field for every file, let vision AI draft them from the image, then review.
